Life Begins With Children

 During June-July we will be carrying out 7 medical camps in different rural areas located in Kenya, Saikeri, Kajiado County. We will be treating common illnesses/diseases accompanied by an experienced local nurse and other volunteer doctor/nurses. The organization LBC: Life Begins with Children aims to treat children at the medical camps. These children do NOT have access to local hospitals as they're quite a distance away from the area where they live. Also, some of them cannot afford hospital fees so we will be putting up a free camp in seven different areas.

Each volunteer pays for their own flights, food and accommodation. LBC only caters for the medical camp expenses.

Each camp costs a certain amount of money. To fund a whole camp it will cost approximately 400€, the fees will cater for medicines, medical equipment and transport for the nurses + equipment. Also, there will be an emergency fund which we will use if we come across any children who have life-threatening illnesses. We will transport them to a hospital in Nairobi and pay for their treatment. 

Photographical evidence will be provided of each camp. Furthermore, funds which are left over after the emergency camps will be spent on food/supplies for local schools, equipment for missionary hospitals and/or will be put towards our sponsorship program.
